Refund Policy

If Premium does not suit you, we would rather refund you than keep the money.

Effective Date: October 15, 2026

Pricing · Terms of Service · Privacy Policy

The 14-day window

Ask for a refund within 14 days of a Premium payment and we will refund it in full. You do not need to give a reason, and you do not need to explain what went wrong.

The 14 days run from the date the payment was taken, not from the date you noticed a problem.

The free first month

Premium starts with a free first month, so you can try it before paying anything. Because no money changes hands during that month, there is nothing to refund. If you cancel during the trial you have paid nothing and owe nothing.

The 14-day window starts at your first paid month, not at the start of the trial. If the trial ends and you want the money back within 14 days of that first charge, this policy applies to it in full.

Cancelling during the trial does not need a refund request. Cancel in Paddle and the plan simply ends at the end of the trial month with nothing charged.

How to ask

  1. Email us from the address you paid with. That is how we match the request to the right payment.
  2. Say which payment you want refunded, and the date if you remember it.
  3. We send the request to Paddle, who process the refund to your card.

Use the Contact page to reach us. If you no longer have access to that inbox, say so in the message and we will work from the payment record.

Who actually returns the money

Payments are taken and refunded by Paddle, who is the merchant of record for My MaNaGeR Premium. They hold the card details and run the refund, because that is how card payments work for a merchant of record.

Practical consequences, so nothing surprises you:

  • The money goes back to the card you paid with, not to a balance or another card.
  • Your bank sets the pace, not us. The refund is usually submitted within a few working days of your request. After that, how quickly the money lands is up to your bank, commonly 3 to 10 further working days. We cannot speed that up, and we would rather say so than quote a date we do not control.
  • You will see "Paddle" on the statement, not "My MaNaGeR", on both the charge and the refund.
  • Amounts are in the currency you were charged in. If we accept a partial refund, any currency conversion is your bank's, and we cannot control what it returns.

What we cannot refund

  • Payments older than 14 days. Past the window, we can usually cancel the subscription so you are not charged again, but we cannot return the money.
  • The free trial month. Nothing was charged during it, so there is nothing to return. See The free first month.
  • Partial months after a cancellation. If you cancel mid-period, Premium runs to the end of the period you already paid for. That unused time is not refunded; the renewal simply stops.
  • A payment you did not authorise. If you do not recognise a charge, contact your bank first. They can usually reverse it faster than we can, and we will cooperate with any fraud check.
  • Missed or failed payments. If a renewal charge was declined and you were not charged, there is nothing to refund.

If Premium is not working

If a paid feature of Premium stops working because of a problem on our side, tell us and choose one of two things:

  • A refund for that period - we send back the money for the time Premium was not usable, or
  • A discount on your next payment - we take the same amount off what you owe next instead.

You pick which one you want. We do not choose for you, and you do not have to prove anything beyond telling us roughly when it was down.

This covers faults on our side: the app not loading, cloud backup not saving, or a paid feature not doing its job. It does not cover your own device, your own internet connection, or a third-party service you connected yourself.

If the problem is fixed before you notice it, nothing is owed. Tell us anyway and we will look at it with you.

What happens to your account after a refund

Nothing is deleted, and nothing becomes unreadable.

  • Your projects stay exactly where they are, in your account and on your device.
  • Your account returns to the free plan. The only thing that changes is the number of projects you can link to cloud backup, which goes back to the free plan's limit of one. Offline projects on your device are unlimited on every plan, so nothing there changes either.
  • If you were over the free limit when Premium ended, nothing is deleted. You simply cannot link further new projects until you are back within the free limit, or start Premium again.
  • Your exports keep working. Exporting to a file is a device feature and is unaffected by any plan.
  • Photos already uploaded are kept and stay viewable. Adding a new photo is a paid feature, so that button stops working until you subscribe again.

In short: Premium only ever controlled a count. A refund returns the money and that count goes back to normal. Your work is not at risk.

If a refund goes wrong

If we decline a request, or a refund does not arrive, reply to us before doing anything else. We will look at it with you. If we cannot resolve it between us, the Terms of Service explain how disputes are handled.
